Intro to Ceramics: Handbuilding

6 weeks | January 9 - February 13 Thursday 6pm - 8pm Join Ceramist Jenn Pena as she introduces you to hand building! No experience needed, Jenn will guide you from the very beginning. This 6-week course will be an introduction to hand built ceramics. Within this once-a-week course, learn hanndbuilding techniques with clay to build beautiful pieces for your home or loved ones with the holidays around the corner. Different methods of working with clay will be taught including including pinch pot, coil, and slab. Projects will include making functional and artistic pieces to bring your ideas to life. Our course will finish with learning about the glazing process as everyone glazes their own work. In addition to class time, our 6 weeks course includes our Studio + Membership ($105 + value)! This includes access to the studio during open hours except during private events, a work-in-progress shelf, and access to studio glazes. • 10 lbs of clay will be provided • All levels welcomed • Repeat students welcomed • Ages 12 and up
