Hands In Art Studio Policy Agreement
Please carefully read and understand the entire contents of this Studio Policy Agreement prior to reserving. By checking off the Agreement, you constitute your consent and agreement to be bound by all the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If you do not agree with any of the terms and conditions in the Agreement, we will unfortunately be unable to complete your reservation. This Studio Policy and Release Agreement is between you and Hands In Art Studio, LLC.
We know schedules can be tricky, and we do our best to be flexible while keeping workshops running smoothly for everyone. Here’s what to know before you book:
Cancellations: Please let us know at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel. We’ll provide studio credit for a future workshop. (No refunds, thank you for understanding!)
Rescheduling: Same-day reschedule requests can be made for a $15 fee.
Arrivals: We’ll begin no later than 7 minutes after the scheduled start time. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, we’ll need to reschedule your session so you have enough time for all workshop steps. A $15 re-scheduling fee will apply.
Firing & Damages (for those coming in for a ceramic related workshop): Not all ceramic pieces are guaranteed to fire successfully. There are multiple factors outside our control that can sometimes cause issues in the kiln. While this is extremely rare, Hands In Art Studio is not responsible for damage due to technical difficulties. In the unlikely event that your piece is damaged, we’ll provide you with a new pottery piece to glaze in-studio as compensation.
Some Tips: Feel free to arrive 15-30 minutes early to get checked in, cups filled, and apron on! Our studio has a store front boutique with handmade items available for purchase, or you can mingle with friends as you settle in before we start. We are a BYOB establishment, so bring your fave drinks and snacks to enjoy while you create art.
Clothing: Aprons are provided, but dressing for a mess is advised as we will be using professional art supplies which mostly do not come out of clothing. While we do provide many tools to work with, trimmed nails are ideal to work with clay.
Workshop Cancellations: Workshops that do not meet our minimum required reservations may be cancelled. Registrants will be notified via email used to reserve their seats 24 hours in advance. Registrants may choose to use their reservation credit for another workshop, receive a gift certificate, or have their payment refunded.
