Clay by the Month is a month to month membership class for those wanting to learn ceramics. Participants will learn at their own pace, with guidance from our in-studio ceramist. Instructor will be available for teaching techniques, demonstrations, and to help participants with handbuilding, throwing, sculpture and glaze application. Learn various hand building and decorating techniques to craft beautiful and functional pieces! All pieces will be dishwasher and microwave safe. No experience necessary, perfect for anyone who wants to experience the basics of working with clay.
Beginners learn how to create basic vessels and forms on a potter’s wheel. More experienced students learn more complicated techniques in working with clay while focusing on design, glaze, and finishing techniques.
