Pottery Wheel Party

Service Description

$270 for up to 6 participants | $45/extra participant Get your hands muddy and your creativity flowing with a Pottery Wheel Party at Hands In Art Studio! This one-of-a-kind experience lets guests try their hand at the pottery wheel and create their very own clay masterpiece, no experience needed! Each guest will learn the basics on how to throw clay on the wheel with hands-on guidance from our friendly instructors. We have 10 pottery wheels available, with a minimum of 6 participants required to book. For groups larger than 6, guests will take turns in small groups to ensure everyone gets the time and attention they need. While waiting for their turn, guests can watch others at the wheel, cheer each other on, and mingle with the group. The perfect mix of creativity and fun! After everyone has made their piece, guests will have the chance to glaze their pottery right at their tables, choosing from a wide selection of vibrant glaze colors. Because each piece is hand-thrown and kiln-fired, finished items will be ready for pickup in about 3–4 weeks. We’ll send a message when everything’s ready for you to take home and admire! Each party can last up to three hours, giving plenty of time for throwing, glazing, and celebrating. You’re welcome to bring your own snacks, drinks, and decorations to make your event uniquely yours. We’ll provide all materials, tools, and cleanup. ✨ Please note: For parties of 20 guests or fewer held during open hours, the studio remains open to the public. Your group will have a designated area on the wheels, while small workshops (10 or fewer guests) may be happening in the front. If you’d like a private party or are expecting 20+ guests, we’re happy to check availability for a full studio rental during our closed hours. A $50 deposit is required to reserve your date and time.
