Intro to Ceramics: Handbuilding

6 Weeks | October 5th - November 9th Mondays 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Join Ceramist Jenn Pena as she introduces you to handbuilding! No experience is needed—Jenn will guide you from the very beginning. This 6-week course is an introduction to handbuilt ceramics. Meeting once a week, you'll learn essential handbuilding techniques with clay to create beautiful pieces for your home or as meaningful handmade gifts. Throughout the course, you'll explore a variety of methods, including pinch pots, coils, and slab building, while creating both functional and artistic projects that bring your ideas to life. The course concludes with an introduction to the glazing process as everyone glazes their own work. In addition to class time, our 6-week course includes our Studio+ Membership (a $105+ value)! This includes access to the studio during open hours (excluding private events), a work-in-progress shelf, and access to our studio glazes. 10 lbs of clay provided All skill levels welcome Repeat students welcome Ages 12 and up
