Service Description
6 weeks | May 2 - June 6th | Thursdays 6-8pm Join Ceramist Lucie Lockard as she introduces you to hand building! No experience needed, Lucie will guide you from the very beginning. This 6-week course will be an introduction to hand built ceramics. Within this once-a-week course, learn hanndbuilding techniques with clay to build beautiful pieces for your home or loved ones with the holidays around the corner. Different methods of working with clay will be taught including including pinch pot, coil, and slab. Projects will include making functional and artistic pieces to bring your ideas to life. Our course will finish with learning about the glazing process as everyone glazes their own work. • 10 lbs of clay will be provided • All levels welcomed • Repeat students welcomed • Ages 12 and up
