Service Description
Discover the art of sgraffito, a ceramic decorating technique where you'll carve your own designs through a layer of colored slip to reveal the clay beneath. From celestial moons and florals to abstract patterns or personalized illustrations, every mug becomes a unique work of art. No clay experience is necessary! Our instructors will guide you through each step of the process, making this workshop perfect for beginners, coffee and tea lovers, date nights, or anyone looking to learn a new ceramic technique. Each participant will receive a handcrafted ceramic mug ready to decorate using the sgraffito method. Once you've finished carving your design, we'll apply a clear glaze and kiln-fire your mug, creating a smooth, food-safe finish that's perfect for everyday use. ✨ All materials, tools, glazing, and kiln firing are included. Your finished mug will be ready for pickup approximately 4–6 weeks after the workshop, ready to enjoy your favorite coffee, tea, or hot chocolate in a piece you created yourself.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations: If you need to cancel your reservation, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. We will gladly issue full studio credit that can be used toward a future workshop. No refunds. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are still eligible for full studio credit; however, a $15 rescheduling fee will apply. No-shows are not eligible for studio credit. To cancel or reschedule, you may: • Email us at handsinartstudio@gmail.com • Call or text 956-605-9393 • Log into your member account on our website to reschedule yourself Rescheduling: Same day re-schedule requests can be made for a $15 fee. Arrivals: We'll begin no later than 7 minutes after the scheduled start time. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, we'll need to reschedule your session so you have enough time for all workshop steps. A $15 rescheduling fee will apply. We appreciate your understanding. It helps us make sure every participant gets the best possible experience.
