Service Description
Join us for a mug making workshop as we guide you through making your own Holiday mug on the wheel! Get familiar with the wheel, learn how to throw a mug, how to pull and attach handles, make and add attachments, and get the basics on how to glaze your mug with different glazes and techniques. Step-by-step instructions will be provided for everyone. All tools and materials will be provided. All levels welcome. Repeat students welcomed.

Cancellation Policy
We know schedules can be tricky, and we do our best to be flexible while keeping workshops running smoothly for everyone. Here’s what to know before you book: Cancellations: Please let us know at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel. We’ll provide studio credit for a future workshop. (No refunds, thank you for understanding!) Rescheduling: Same-day reschedule requests can be made for a $15 fee. Arrivals: Since this is a two-part class, we’ll begin no later than 7 minutes after the scheduled start time. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, we’ll need to reschedule your session so you still have enough time for both the pottery wheel and glazing portions. Firing & Damages: Not all ceramic pieces are guaranteed to fire successfully. There are multiple factors outside our control that can sometimes cause issues in the kiln. While this is extremely rare, Hands In Art Studio is not responsible for damage due to technical difficulties. In the unlikely event that your piece is damaged, we’ll provide you with a new pottery piece to glaze in-studio as compensation. We appreciate your understanding. It helps us make sure every participant gets the best possible experience.
